I’ve left posting for a couple of days, partly due to laziness, but also due to a lack of things to write. Hopefully I have now garnered enough info from my life and the world around me to write.

Regarding myself, I haven’t been up to anything majorly exciting. We had a Flat meal on Saturday and drank an awful lot of beer, lidl is a bad, bad place. But a good time was had by all, and we watched the final episodes of the housewives of NJ, which included the memorable quote, ‘he’s so ugly he’s cute, like Yoda!’.

Sunday witnessed the inevitable capitulation of Great Britain in the Davis Cup. Andy Murray is taking the opportunity to get out and I can’t say I blame him.

I’ve been working yesterday and Monday. I was hoping to get to write a press release but it wasn’t to be, however there are positive sounds about getting to write one tomorrow, fingers crossed. Spent most of yesterday sorting out coverage and today filing the last 3 months worth of newspapers- did also manage to find some from 2006.

I regard to the world around me I can’t say i’m particularly chuffed at the Lib Dems for backing down on tuition fees and becoming the Tories lite- I agree with Polly that this was there chance to claim the left of centre. grr.  http://tinyurl.com/kq6b7p

Hopeful about the Chinese emissions promises, unsure if they’re trying to bite the bullet and promise something before they are forced into something stronger at Copenhagen, but then again, who would really be forcing them? However one thing’s for sure, they’ve stolen Obama’ s thunder.

The Belgians are coming… sadly not an invasion, although I’d quite like to see that, they’ve been invaded enough and you never know it may give them some unity. What I’m really talking about of course is the all conquering return of Kim Clijsters and now the promised return of Justine Henin, womens tennis is back!

so far i’ve had a weekend of very little consequence, the highlight of which was Scott pretending to beat up Sam to entertain/ worry our nosy neighbours. The police haven’t visited yet, so i am concluding that they don’t care about domestic violence!

unsurprisingly i’m sitting in front of the telly watching the Davis Cup, we’re a set down and i just witnessed the most feeble and middle class mexican wave of my life! ooh they’ve broken and we’ve won the second set. live blogging here people!

Watched the final episode of the housewives of NJ, which wasn’t actually the final episode, as there is the obligatory reunion episode and the ‘lost footage’. A phrase more commonly heard in reference to lost cuts of stanley kubrick films rather than a series by Bravo.

Our excursion to Ocean Terminal guilded some success for me, although I think I drove Sam very close to madness and we failed to buy beer, which is now our project for today.

In other news we all failed to get stuck to our seats by Derren Brown but maybe that was because we we’re watching it on channel 4+1 due to the far more enticing Strictly Come Dancing, consensus view was they were all fairly bad except Becca from Hollyoaks and as much as I like Alesha she’s not much of a judge.

We are now entering day three of me attempting and failing to go and get a new bus pass.

I’m going to blast off into the world of blogging with an account of a day in the life… this is no ordinary day, this a mundane day!

As I’m working PT at Niche Works, I have Fridays off, which means i’ve already wasted half a day. I have exciting plans to go to Ocean Terminal later and buy a suit style jacket, currently watching the Davis Cup tennis, Murray’s a set up, and I hope that by Sunday I won’t be writing about how they threw a lead away! They’re playing the Proclaimers over the speakers, seems slightly odd that sitting in the heart of Proclaimers land I’m having the Proclaimers piped to me via Liverpool.

I’m going to leave it at that now… which I am fully aware isn’t much, but if I don’t leave my laptop and go and do something there will be nothing to write ever!
